But who’s to say you can’t build your own?
Castles can be hard to come by, especially when many other buyers want to own their own haunted or fairy-tale property. So why not build your own? Building a castle of your own can have many advantages: creative freedom, a solid structure based on modern building codes, and location flexibility being three large ones. Of course, one must consider the disadvantages as well. For one, you’ll need to find another place to live during the tedious building process, two, you might have to look into a construction company that specializes in castle-building, and three, of course you will not get to own an authentic, historical structure.
However, if your attraction towards castles comes from purely aesthetic purposes and because, well, owning a castle is freaking cool, you’ll still benefit from considering this route.
